About Spoons of Salt

Founded in 2024, Spoons of Salt was established with a simple mission: to promote the well-being of our community. What started as a passion-driven initiative has grown into a community-driven organization.

Spoons of Salt is a local nonprofit serving the metro Atlanta and North Atlanta regions, with a focus on supporting individuals with chronic disorders and invisible illnesses within our community.

We’ve built a supportive community of individuals who understand the daily challenges and hardships associated with chronic conditions like Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, POTS, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, and many more.

We support our local community through in-person support meetings and events designed for individuals with chronic disabilities, providing an opportunity for them to connect with others in our area who share similar experiences. We also work on providing items to our community, such as mobility aids and other equipment, to make lives a little easier.
